Ah, children...

So last night I went to the doctor's office. I'm still sick after a week and a half of antibiotics, so they gave me new stuff. But while I was waiting in the waiting room, there were three children out there playing with the little train set that is in the waiting room.

One by one, they started coming over to check out what I was doing, which, as has been my penchant lately, was spinning.

Specifically the "Celebrate" yarn.

Mind you, since it's using three spindles, it's a bit amusing to watch.

One by one they come over... And one by one start to ask me what I'm doing, how I'm doing it, can they have some (sorry kid, can't detach that), can they try (sorry, not on this yarn, although if I had a cd spindle I'd let them)...

One of them told me I could make a pinata out of it. *laugh*

It was just the most adorable thing... By the time their parents came out (the father apparently had a badly sprained thumb), all three were quietly watching me.

Nothing like spinning to be a babysitter. :)

The Boy helped me with my spinning...once. He pedaled for a little while while I did the hand part. He wanted to do the hand part to, but I had to draw the line somewhere. :-)
